Size does matter... even when it comes to paddle boards
One of the things I truly enjoy about running a paddle boarding company is bringing new people into the sport. I bet I get as much joy watching a new paddler learn to stand and paddle proficiently as they do. That said, the most common hindrance I hear from those thinking about getting into paddle boarding is size. By that I mean the size of the price tag for a new paddle board and the literal size of the paddle board itself.
Concerned and looking for some answers, I did a little research on, of all places, the Amazon marketplace to see if I could find any low priced, quality paddle boards. To address the literal size issue, I focused on inflatable paddle boards. For affordability, I only looked at inflatable paddle boards priced below $599 and Prime eligible (free shipping, every penny counts!).
The criteria I used to find quality boards included average customer rating > 4.5, total number of reviews >30, and average sales per month >175. Using these criteria we reduced the list from over 50 inflatable boards to choose from down to just five.
